Rated to cast leads between 4oz and 7oz. The extra rod length, without a significant increase in the rod’s weight, produces long distances for mere mortals using a multiplier reel and off the ground style. Casting with the low reel in particular produces high tip speeds, whilst retaining a smooth action even after maximum compression. Casting range is 200+ yards.
